Pupil Premium

Please read the information below which gives details of our Pupil Premium Grant and how we allocate the funding.

In 2011/12 the Government launched its Pupil Premium Grant. The Pupil Premium is an allocation of additional funding provided to schools to support specific groups of children who are vulnerable to possible underachievement. This funding is sent to schools based on the numbers of pupils in the school who are eligible for Free School Meals (FSM) or have at any time in the last six years, those looked after by the local authority (CLA) and the children of armed service personnel.

The funding is allocated to initiatives to ensure pupils reach their full potential both academically and socially.

2019/2020
Total number of pupils eligible for PPG = 18
Amount per child = 13 x £1320, 1 x £1620, 2 x £300, 2 x £2300
Total amount of PPG received £23980

How the funding was spent:

Extra TA and teacher support

Financial support for events such as residential trips

Impact of Pupil Premium

Pupils are becoming better equipped to learn within the classroom and confidence to participate and form new relationships with others is growing.
