At Copp, we are very fortunate to have links with more than one parish, as we are based between Great Eccleston and Elswick.

 

Rev Jim Williams, the vicar at Elswick United Reformed Memorial Church supports our school each week through leading worship on a Monday.  He is also instrumental in supporting our RE curriculum and has worked with different classes on a variety of areas, such as baptism and the church.

 

The choir has sung for Elswick Church on a number of occasions, including Harvest and the Rose Queen Garden Party.  They have also joined forces with the Elswick Singers for a concert in the church.

 

Through Rev Jim, we have learned about the needs of the less fortunate in different parts of Blackpool and St Anne's and some of the older children have worked with him supporting the food bank.
