What is St. Anne's Copp School Council?

St. Anne's Copp School Council is a group of pupils who are elected to represent the views of all children to improve their school. Each year voting takes place for the children who have been campaigning to be elected to the School Council.

    What do we do?

St. Anne's Copp School Council meets regularly to discuss ways they would like to improve our school, the local and wider community and to ensure our school is environmentally friendly.

Members of St. Anne's Copp School Council will be responsible for carrying out the ideas that have been agreed, such as planning charity events, putting forward views of other children in the school and helping to support projects which develop our children's learning and development.

    Current projects

St Anne's Copp School Council are working hard to create a more eco-friendly environment for all. The children have created posters to put up in our outdoor areas to promote a 'no litter' environment.

The children have also worked with Elswick Community Garden, discussing how to make a pollinator friendly garden and how children can help the community and join the Little Seedlings gang!
