  • Achievements

In our Awards Assembly every Friday, we celebrate achievements such as Star of the Week, Writer of the Week and Mathematician of the Week. The parents of children who will be receiving awards are welcomed into school and we have retained the Zoom facility to make  it easier for working parents to celebrate the success of their child remotely.

    Mathematician of the Week Award

Maths awards can be given for improved effort, attainment, progress, involvement, determination - and much more.

    Writer of the Week Award

Every week we celebrate WOW writing at our celebration assembly.

This award can include recognition for using effective punctuation, fabulous vocabulary, interesting facts and so much more.  Any child who receives this award has their work displayed and sent home.

    Star of the Week Award

Stars of the Week may be awarded for hard work, perseverance, great mindset, kindness, thinking of others - and lots more!

    myHappymind Award

Awarded each week to the child in each class who has shown strengths across the units of myHappymind.

    Class Attendance Award

In addition, we celebrate good attendance through awarding a class award to the class who has the best attendance in any given week.

    Headteacher Award

The Headteacher also awards children throughout school. This can be for a variety of reasons such as personal development, living out our Christian vision or work they have completed.  Those children who are awarded Headteacher or Star of the Week are invited for a drink and biscuit with the Headteacher to talk about their achievement that week.

    Values Awards

On the last Friday of every half term, we hold a special assembly celebrating children who have displayed our school values in everyday life.  This is a special assembly.  More details can be found on our 'Christian Distinctiveness' tab.
